Established
in 1998, Invisible Landscapes is a Brighton-based live
DJing project that creates a dynamic blend of electronic, ambient
and noise music.
We are interested in music that focuses on the timbres or textures
of sound derived from field recordings, found objects, equipment
glitches and artifacts, and abstract electronic synthesis.
We use three CD players and a turntable to combine these elements
in novel ways, producing ever-shifting soundscapes that at different
times are both settling and unsettling, rhythmic and arhythmic.
The music of Invisible Landscapes is particularly suited to chill-out
rooms but is more edgy than mere relaxation music.
